Watching Coldplay at Wembley Stadium…that sounds amazing! As for city order, I recommend London to Amsterdam to Brussels to Paris to Lucerne/Zurich to Salzburg to Vienna. We have a London Amsterdam Paris itinerary to get you started. From Paris, take a high speed train to Switzerland. From Switzerland, you could continue to travel by train or rent a car for the final leg of your trip (which one is better depends on the train routes…you can get an idea of timetables on a website like RailEurope.com). If you have any other questions, please let me know. Cheers, Julie

We are planning a 14 day trip to Europe in September beginning in London to see Coldplay at Wembley Stadium on 8 Sept.

From there we want to go to Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Lucerne or Zurich and Vienna or Salzburg. Our schedule is pretty open for now so the planning begins.

We will fly into London first for the concert. Would like to go to Paris next but are flexible. What would be your recommendation for order based on time and travel options? Any suggestions are welcomed.

Thank you, Tina

15 days is enough time to visit London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. Adding on Italy would be a bit too much in my opinion. You could follow our London Amsterdam Paris and Amsterdam Brussels Paris itineraries with some modifications. Those itineraries have links to our hotel guides and give info about trains. We’ve priced out rail passes for our trips to Europe and it never offered savings over buying individual tickets, but you could price out both, since you will be visiting 4+ cities, just to confirm whether or not there would be any savings for your trip. You will need to reserve the high speed trains in advance. Cheers, Julie

Is it possible to do 15 days to London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam and Italy?
And is it better to purchase Eurostar rail to travel to each Country?
And which hotels are best to stay in?

Thank you so much!
Jenny

Hello Anna. With 10 days, you could visit Paris, France + one or two cities in Italy (such as Rome + Florence OR Venice + Florence). If you did this, you would take a short flight between Paris and Italy. Another option would be to visit southern France and northern Italy, since those are near each other, but that may not be that interesting for the kids. With 10 people and a wide variety of ages, it might be easier to stay in one country. You could follow one of our 10 day Italy itineraries, which would be easy to plan and some could be done by public transportation (a good idea, because with your group size, you would have to rent at least two vehicles). If you have any other questions. please let me know. Cheers, Julie
